Shared photo albums that
tell stories.
Storynote is a group photo app that turns your photos — and everyone
else's — into one chronological story you can actually relive together.
Start a shared album for any trip,
celebration, or chapter of life.
iOS app · No spam, ever
From photos to a story in minutes.
Every perspective, one story.
No more chasing photos from everyone after the fact. Friends, family, anyone you were with — invite them as contributors and watch the full picture come together in one shared album.
- Photos auto-sort chronologically by when they were taken
- Real-time additions from any contributor
- Reactions, comments, and notes on every moment
Your story, your rules.
Some stories are just for you. Some are for a close circle. Some are meant to be shared with the world. Storynote gives every story its own privacy setting — and you can change it any time.
- Only me — a private journal no one else sees
- Private — shared only with contributors and viewers you choose
- Public — open to anyone who finds it
Built for the way life actually happens.
Storynote has become a home for the memories and friendships I miss most. Living overseas, it gives me a beautiful space to reminisce and feel nostalgic — and somehow makes the distance feel a little smaller.
The things people ask us most.
How do I collect photos from everyone after a trip?
Start a story in Storynote and invite the people who were there as contributors. Everyone adds their own photos to the same story, and Storynote sorts them by when they were taken rather than when they were uploaded — so the trip reads in order even though it came from a dozen different phones.
Is there an app where everyone can add photos to one album?
That is what Storynote is built for. A story is a shared album that any contributor can add to, so you are not the one chasing people in a group chat and stitching the results together afterwards.
How do I share photos with a group privately?
Every story has its own privacy setting. You can keep a story completely private, share it with a specific circle of people you choose, or make it public — and you can set it per photo too, so a single note can be more private than the story it lives in.
How can I share photos without posting them on social media?
Storynote has no public feed you are pushed into and no algorithm deciding who sees your photos. A private story is visible only to the people you invite, which makes it a practical way to share family or baby photos with a small group instead of broadcasting them.
How is Storynote different from a shared album in Google Photos or iCloud?
Shared albums in those apps are mainly a container for files. Storynote is built around the story: photos are ordered by when they happened, everyone's contributions merge into one timeline, and you can react to and comment on individual moments. It is meant to be revisited and read, not just stored.
Do the people I invite need the app?
Yes. Contributors add photos from the Storynote app on iPhone, and creating an account is free. That is what keeps a private story private — access belongs to specific people rather than to anyone holding a link.
Is Storynote free?
There is a free plan, and you can create and share stories on it. Paid plans raise the limits — more contributors on a story, more storage, and video — and there are no ads on any plan.
Does Storynote work on Android?
Not yet. Storynote is an iPhone app today, so everyone contributing to a story needs an iPhone.

a real story.
